The Hospitality Revenue Shift was delivered for the first time this month with a busy food and beverage team, and it was a wonderful afternoon.
The course is built around the NAREC system, a five-step approach I created especially for hospitality teams. It enhances the great service teams already give and focuses on the revenue shift, helping staff recommend with confidence so every guest gets more from their visit. What each letter stands for, and how it works at the table, is something you will discover on the course itself.
The feedback from the team meant a great deal to me:
“Today’s training was very educational and practical. Perfect.”
“Gave a useful structure to follow. Eye opening.”
“The most useful part was the NAREC system, which I will implement on my shifts.”
“It has given me more confidence to see upselling as a natural conversation, not complicated.”
What stands out for me is that the team now see upselling as part of great hospitality, a helpful conversation with the guest rather than a sales pitch. They can also see the opportunity for themselves, because recommending with care benefits the guest, the business and their own bonus too. When the guest wins, everyone wins.
If you lead a hotel, restaurant or bar team and would like to explore The Hospitality Revenue Shift for your people, I would be glad to have that conversation with you.
